101 in 1001: multitasking at its best!

I took care of two goals from my 101 in 1001 list in one shot (sorta). #59: "Plan 12 date nights for the hubs and I" AND #19: "Pick things from the entertainment book and do them."

The hubs and I usually have our date nights inside so I thought if we plan a night out once a month, that’s not spending too much money, right? (RIGHT!). So I started searching Pinterest for date night ideas but was blown away with the many options. And, like a sign from the universe, right next to my laptop was the entertainment book.....

You know this book. I’m sure you have one (or two) at your house. You bought it from your child’s school or from a friend, telling yourself “this will be so useful!”

How much dust is on that book right now? Yup, same here!

So I flipped through the book and tore out coupons to places we would like to go. Then made little flyers for each month’s activity and a simple label for each envelope. The kids even got into the fun by helping me cut, paste, stuff the envelopes, etc.  It was a fun little project.

I will post each date as we get to it.

Do you have a 101 in 1001 list? Do you have any date night ideas? Let me know in the comments section.

  1. I used to be an extremely organized, planned out person who accomplished great deals, however over the last couple of years and with all that has gone in life, my organizational skills are pretty much gone, and now I have a hard time accomplishing anything. I LOVE the idea of this 101 in 1001 (although I may change it a little to push myself harder) but it is an amazing idea and may very well Follow suite and join you in this adventure : )
