DATE NIGHT!
Yesterday I surprised the hubs but not with a prank, but with a special date night. I worked in the April Fools theme into it a little. I made and printed this out on postcard paper:
I waited until the kids were in bed then served a special
dinner just for us (sorry, forgot to take a picture):

He thought it was chicken but it’s actually "Chicken Fried
Steak." So I was able to get in a little April Fools prank in there after all.
He was really happy because I hardly ever make steak (I’m cheap like that).

After that we relaxed and watched TV. Not too bad for a date
night.
How was your April Fools Day?
You are so much kinder than I am. One year I left an EPT test on the bathroom counter. He got revenge, so I haven't tried anything like that again ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, that's one prank I will dare not do. You are brave.
DeleteVery cute idea! I am sure he loved the company just as much as the steak!
ReplyDeleteHe did, espeically since I usually fall asleep the same time as the kids! :-x
DeleteSo sweet! I love the idea of being romantic instead of a prankster

I prank him all throughout the year lol, I figured I'd be nice to him on this day.
